HP Designjet cc800ps, 815mfp and 4200 Scanner - Touch-Screen Monitor Cursor does not Align with the Stylus (Pointer)

Introduction

The scanner's touch-screen cursor will not correctly align with the stylus (cursor moves in the opposite direction than the stylus). This can occur due to an incomplete touch screen calibration procedure or an out of calibration condition. Follow the steps for the appropriate product below to re-calibrate the touch-screen monitor.

    Remarque :
It is not necessary to turn off the scanner or the printer.
  3. Attempt to verify functionality of cursor and stylus.
  4. If problems persist, continue with the remaining steps.
  5. Using the stylus, select Calibrate Touch Screen on the Windows desktop. If successful continue with Step 7.

    2. Go to the back of the touch-screen monitor and remove the panel covering the Win 2000 OS ports using a small Phillips screwdriver. This provides access to the PS/2 keyboard port, shown in Figure 1 below.
    3. Install the keyboard into the PS/2 port as shown in Figure 2 below.

    Remarque :
Make sure that when the question "Does the cursor follow the pointer when touched to the screen?" appears, that either yes or no is selected. Failure to select either answer within 30 seconds will result in an out of calibration condition for the monitor.
