HP Designjet Printers - Printer No Longer Stores Print Jobs in the Queue

問題:

HP Designjet printer is no longer storing print jobs in the queue, or is storing fewer jobs than were previously stored. The most common causes of this issue are:
  • Alternating between HP-GL/2 and PostScript files (the printer can only queue one type of information or the other).
  • Enabling the Process in Computer or Avoid Out of Memory option (the printer is receiving HP-RTL files, which cannot be stored in the queue).
解決策

If the printer is networked, follow these steps for each workstation connected to the printer.
  1. Open the printer driver properties (Printing Preferences or Properties, depending on the operating system you are using).
  2. Click the Advanced tab.
  3. Ensure that the Process in Computer or Avoid Out of Memory option is unchecked.
When this option is enabled, the driver is sending HP-RTL files to the printer. An HP-RTL file will initially appear in the queue while it is printing. When printing is complete, the job disappears from the queue because HP-RTL files cannot be stored in the queue.
If using AutoCAD, any stored PC3 configuration files may also have these options enabled, so you will need to check the PC3 configuration files as well.
