Basic features of the HP Print Support App.
Color Mode: Control how the printer interprets colors and uses ink to print. For the best results, edit photos and documents in the application you created them before changing print settings.
Color : Uses ink from all cartridges for full color prints.
Grayscale using CMYK black : Uses ink from black and color cartridges to produce a wider range of black and gray tones for high quality black and white prints.
Grayscale using Black only : Uses the black cartridge only for normal or lower quality black and white prints.
Two-sided Printing: Enables printing on two sides of a sheet of paper. The choices are None, Flip on Long Edge, or Flip on Short Edge.
Pages per sheet: Specifies the number of pages to print on a single sheet of paper. If more than one page is printed per sheet, the pages appear smaller and are arranged on the sheet in the order that they would otherwise be printed.
1 page per sheet (the default)
2 pages per sheet
3 pages per sheet
4 pages per sheet
9 pages per sheet
16 pages per sheet
Print Quality: The main setting to improve the quality of printouts is print resolution. Print resolution is measured in dots per inch (DPI). Higher DPI produces clearer and more detailed prints but slows print speed and might use more ink.
Professional: Default print quality setting suitable for most print jobs.
General Office: Use when ink levels are low or you do not need high quality print jobs.
Presentation: Use when you need high quality print jobs.
Document features of the Print Support App.
Copy Count: Adjust the number of copies you want to print by clicking the Plus + or Minus - button.

Orientation: Select Portrait or Landscape.
Paper size: Select the paper size that is loaded in the printer, such as 4 x 6, legal, or 8.5 x 11 plain paper.
Paper Source: Select the tray you loaded the paper into, if your printer has more than one tray. If available, use Automatically Select to pull from the main tray. If the main tray is empty, paper is pulled from another tray with paper.
Media type: Set the media type you are using, such as HP Photo Paper, plain paper, or custom media, or select Automatic to let the printer select the paper type.
When loading paper into the input tray, look for a prompt on the control panel menu to confirm the paper type and size.
Booklet Printing: Select page flip binding settings for booklet reading.
Pages to Print: Select the pages you want to print, either all pages or odd or even pages.
