HP Color LaserJet Enterprise CP4020/CP4520 Series Printers - Replace the Toner Collection Unit

Select Printers and Multifunction under the Product category, Select HP Color LaserJet Printers under the Product family, and then select the printer model under the product series category.

1. Open the front door. Make sure that the door is completely open.
   
2. Grasp the top of the toner collection unit and remove it from the product.
   
3. Place the attached cap over the opening at the top of the unit.
   
4. Remove the new toner collection unit from its package.
   
5. Use the enclosed cloth to wipe up any toner that may have spilled.
   
6. Insert the bottom of the new unit into the product first (callout 1) and then push the top of the unit until it clicks into place (callout 2).
   
7. Close the front door.

   note:

   If the toner collection unit is not installed correctly, the front door does not close completely.

   
8. Recycle the old toner collection unit following the instruction enclosed with the new unit.
