All ink filters should be replaced at the same time. If you need to replace one filter, it is best to
replace them all at once. In doing so, the printer will be able to track the correct amount of time
between ink filter change.
Required Tools

Protective gloves (such as latex)

Protective eye wear

#2-phillips screwdriver

Paper towels
-
Drop cloth, newspaper or plastic (placed under work area to catch any ink that may drip during the removal of the filter)
Preparation

Power off the printer, following the cautions in the section “Managing Power Off Scenarios.”

Open the service door on the user-end cabinet.

Place the drop cloth under the work area beneath the ink filters.

Wear protective gloves, such as latex, to protect your hands from being stained with ink.

Wear protective eye wear to protect your eyes from splashing ink.

Place paper towels within reach of work area
note:
When the filter is removed, it will be full of ink. Have sufficient paper towels available for this much ink.
