Problem:
This document describes what to do if the printer shuts down half way through each print when printing on roll media.

To resolve this issue, perform the following steps:
  1. Check the media specification of the roll media being used.
  2. Check for the following:
    1. Ensure the roll is not touching or rubbing the surface (for example, desk or table) on which the printer is placed.
    2. Ensure the roll is not touching or rubbing the wall at the back of the printer.
