HP Business Inkjet Printers - Driver Issue: Fix for Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 3 (SP 3)

Print jobs are not printing after updating to Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 3 (SP 3). Note that this is not an HP specific issue but is a Microsoft issue,

Microsoft Windows XP SP 3 has been released.

There is an issue wherein the drivers that are installed on the system prior to updating the operating system to SP 3 might not work properly or might not work at all.

If this issue occurs then use Add or Remove programs in Control Panel in Windows to remove the HP printing software. Reboot the PC and then use the installation CD to reinstall the software using the ADD Printer Wizard. . Or, go to the web and search for the latest drivers available for your product. If one is found then download and install it using the ADD Printer Wizard.
