This package contains a background utility to avoid a USB 3.0 hang condition in supported models running a supported operating system.

This package contains a background utility that will prevent the TI USB 3.0 controller/re-driver combination in Z1, Z420, Z620 and Z820 systems from getting stuck in a state in which the 3.0 ports would be unusable. With the TI USB 3.0 controller, there are instances where the controller will inadvertently enter into a state within the controller's internal state machine that will not exit under normal operation, thus rendering that port unusable until the system is rebooted. In future Linux USB 3.0 driver revisions, this condition will be automatically detected and corrected by the driver, but until that time, this utility can be used to solve these particular issues.
