HP Desktop PCs - Set your PC to turn on automatically at a certain time (Wake on LAN)
On HP 32-bit desktop PCs, you can configure the BIOS to turn on your system automatically on select days and at a specific
time.
Enable the Power-On feature
Use the following steps to access the BIOS and enable the Power-On feature.

Turn off the computer and wait five seconds.

Turn on the computer, and then immediately press the f10 key repeatedly, about once every second.
The BIOS Setup Utility screen is displayed.

Press the right arrow key to highlight the Advanced tab.

Press the down arrow key to highlight BIOS Power-On, and then press the enter key.

Use the up and down arrow keys to select the day of the week that you want the computer to turn on automatically.
Note:
You can select one or more days.

Use the right and left arrow keys to change the settings.
Select Enable to automatically turn on the computer on the selected day.

Press the down arrow key to highlight Time (hh:mm).

To set the time when the computer should turn on, use the following steps:

The time is in a 24-hour format (for example, 1:30 PM is written as 13:30). You can set only one time that applies to every
day the BIOS Power-On feature is enabled.

To increase or decrease the hour setting, use the up and down arrow keys.

Press the tab key to highlight the minutes setting.

To increase or decrease the minute setting, use the up and down arrow keys.

After the settings are configured, press the f10 key to accept the settings.

Return to the BIOS menu, and then press the right arrow key to highlight the Power tab.

Press the down arrow key to highlight the Hardware Power Management, and then press the enter key.

Press the down arrow key to highlight S4/S5 Wake on LAN, and then press the right arrow key to select Enable.

Press the f10 key to accept the settings.

Press the left arrow key to highlight the File tab.

Press the down arrow key to highlight Save Changes and Exit, and then press the enter key to confirm.

Press the enter key again to confirm.
The computer starts up into Windows.

The computer is now set to turn on automatically on the designated days and time.
