HP Printers - Create and use printing presets (Windows)
Learn how to create and use printing presets in the printer software (in Windows). A printing preset is a collection of saved print settings that you can select with one click before sending a print job to the printer.

Use a printing preset
Follow these steps to use an existing printing preset with the default print options in an Office application or app.

Select the printer, and then click Properties or Printer Properties.

Create a new printing preset
Follow these steps to create a custom printing presets in an Office application or app.

From the Office app, select the Print option.

Select the printer, and then click Properties or Printer Properties.

From the Preset drop-down list at the top of the window, select Factory Defaults to use as a base.

Select the appropriate print settings for the preset.

Click the Save icon (
) next to the Preset drop-down list. The Custom Preset dialog box appears.

In the Preset Name field, type a name for the custom preset, and then click Save. The custom preset is added to the Preset drop-down list.

Click OK to close the printer settings or properties dialog box.

Click Print to print the job.
