HP Smart Tank printers - Unable to change copy size from control panel

For printers with button-only control panels, change the copy size setting using the printer Embedded Web Server (EWS).

1. Open the Advanced Settings (EWS) in the HP Smart app or type the printer IP address into a web browser address bar.

2. On the EWS home page, click Settings.

3. Under Copy Settings, select Custom from the Resize drop-down.

4. Enter a percentage value to reduce or enlarge the copy size.

   • To reduce the size, enter a value less than 100, such as 55.

   • To enlarge the size, enter a value greater than 100, such as 150.

   

5. After entering a value, click Apply.

   The value entered becomes the new default copy size setting until changed.

6. Copy the document or photo from the printer control panel.
