HP is enhancing the BIOS on the HP 2023 notebook PCs.
The new software and BIOS updates are available for download from the HP Software and Driver Downloads page after the effective date.
HP ZBook Fury 16-inch G10 Mobile Workstation PC, HP ZBook Studio 16-inch G10 Mobile Workstation PC, and HP Elite Dragonfly 13.5-inch G4 Notebook PC System BIOS have the following enhancements added:

Fixes an issue when the unit cannot charge under sleep/hibernate/shutdown state via the 15 W USB Type-C adapter.

Enhancement to address security vulnerabilities CVE-2023-39368, CVE-2023-38575, and CVE-2023-28746.

Distinct error messages for Fan 1 and Fan 2 based on their respective behaviors, providing more specific and actionable information in the event of a fan-related issue. This improvement could potentially streamline troubleshooting efforts and help address any fan-related concerns more effectively.

The loss of Clickpad functionality during sudden shutdown when the firmware is updating via FUR/INF.

Pop-up message to recommend using HP-branded batteries only when a non-HP branded battery is used in the system.
