Microsoft has revised specifications for Mixed Reality Ultra support. As a result, computers with the NVIDIA GTX 1050 or GTX 1050i graphics solutions are being switched out of Mixed Reality Ultra mode (Visuals =
On) into Automatic (Visuals =
Automatic). In Automatic, the headset display will automatically switch between Mixed Reality Ultra and Mixed Reality Ready modes, depending on the particular game, or application being used. Computers with the above-mentioned graphics solutions were formerly in the Mixed Reality Ultra tier.
Users of computers with the above mentioned-graphics solutions will receive the following notification:
Some performance settings for Windows Mixed Reality have been updated. This may have changed the refresh rate or other settings for mixe reality experiences on this PC. To see details, go to

NOTE: You can manually set the computer back to Mixed Reality Ultra if desired.
