If you experience frequent paper jams or printing problems, check the number of pages the printer has printed or scanned. Replace the corresponding parts, if necessary.

note:
Some menus may not be available depending on options or models. If so, they are not applicable to your printer.

For models that do not support the display screen: In ready mode, press and hold Stop/Clear for about 6 seconds, then release. A supplies information report prints out.

It may be necessary to press OK to navigate to lower-level menus for some models.

Use these steps to check the supplies life.

Select Menu > System Setup > Maintenance > Supplies Life on the control panel.

For models with a touch screen only: Select Setup > System > Next > Maintenance > Supplies Info.
Select the option you want and press OK.

For models with a touch screen only: Select the option you want.
Press Stop/Clear to return to ready mode.
