Samsung Laser Printers - Android Smartphones and Samsung Print Service Plugin

The Samsung Print Service Plugin—available for download in the Google Play Store—provides native printing support on Android devices running at least Android 4.4 (KitKat).
The plugin enables printing to many Samsung laser printers and multifunction printers without the need for third party apps or additional print drivers. You can easily print photos, webpages, and documents when your mobile device is connected to a compatible Samsung printer through a wireless network or a direct wireless connection to the printer. You can control print settings including color, number of copies, paper orientation, paper type, paper size, and double-sided printing.

Step 1: Make sure your printer is Mopria certified

Go to Certified Products (in English) on the Mopria website, and then make sure your printer model is compatible with Mopria. If your printer is listed, continue to the next step.

Step 2: Download Samsung Print Service Plugin

On Samsung Galaxy smartphones and tablets, the Samsung Print Service plugin is pre-installed. If you have a Samsung Galaxy mobile device, skip to the next step.
For non-Galaxy Android smartphones running Android version 4.4 and above, download from Google Play:
  1. Go to Samsung Print Service Plugin (in English) to download the plugin (if you are viewing this page on a mobile device), or search in Google Play for Samsung Print Service Plugin.
  2. Tap the green Install button.
  3. Tap the green Accept button.

Step 3: Print or share from Samsung Print Service Plugin

Once you have downloaded and installed the Samsung Print Service Plugin, the menu options of items such as webpages and photos displays Print and Share options.
To print, tap the settings icon, tap Print, and then select your printing options.
