This document pertains to HP computers with Windows 7 that have HP Connection Manager installed.
When opening Connection Manager, a Fatal Error occurs.

Resolving the fatal error
To resolve the fatal error, download and install the following three service packs.

Download and install Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 with Service Pack and then restart the computer.

Download and install HP Software Framework and then restart the computer.

Download and install HP Connection Manager and then restart the computer.
HP Connection Manager now opens without the error message.
