HP LaserJet M125, M126 Printers - Printing Self-Test Pages

This document is for HP LaserJet Pro MFP M125nw, M125rnw, and M126nw printers.

This document contains instructions for printing self-test pages, including a Self Test/Configuration page, Supplies Status page, Usage Page, and Wireless Network Test Report.

Print a Self Test/Configuration page

A Self Test/Configuration page lists the printer serial number, firmware version, printer usage, connectivity, and copy settings.

Load letter or A4 unused, plain white paper into the input tray.
On the printer control panel, press the Setup button .
Press the Right arrow button to select Reports, then press OK.
Press the Right arrow button to select Config Report, then press OK. The printer prints a configuration report.

note:
The printer prints two pages of information.

Print a Supplies Status page

The Supplies Status page lists toner levels, pages printed, and ordering information for HP supplies.

Load letter or A4 unused, plain white paper into the input tray.
On the printer control panel, press the Setup button .
Press the Right arrow button to select Reports, then press OK.
Press the Right arrow button to select Supply Status, then press OK.

A Supplies Status page prints.

Print a Usage Page

The Usage Page provides a detailed list of copy and scan jobs performed by the printer.

Load letter or A4 unused, plain white paper into the input tray.
On the printer control panel, press the Setup button .
Press the Right arrow button to select Reports, then press OK.
Press the Right arrow button to select Usage Report, then press OK.

A Usage Page prints.

Print a Wireless Network Test Report

To make sure the wireless connectivity is functioning, print a Wireless Network Test Report.

Load letter or A4 unused, plain white paper into the input tray.
On the printer control panel, press the Setup button .
Press the Right arrow button to select Network Setup, then press OK.
Press the Right arrow button to select Wireless Menu, then press OK.
Press the Right arrow button to select Network Test, then press OK.

A Wireless Network Test Report prints.
