HP Color LaserJet Enterprise M651, HP Color LaserJet Enterprise MFP M680 - Replace the Tray 2-5 pickup and separation rollers

This document applies to several HP LaserJet products. Some products might have a different appearance than the product in these images, but the procedure is the same.

1. Press the power button to turn the product off.

2. Open and remove each of the cassette trays (Trays 2-5).

   note:

   Some products have different tray configurations than shown here.

   Figure : Remove the cassette trays.
   
3. Locate the set of three rollers inside the cavity for each tray. Replace only the rollers that have blue plastic on the ends.

4. For each roller that has blue plastic on the end, pinch together the tabs, and pull the roller straight out. Recycle the rollers according to local regulations.

5. Remove the new rollers from the packaging.

     caution:

   Do not touch the surface of the rollers. Grasp the rollers by the tabs on the end.

6. Insert the new rollers, and push in until each roller snaps into place.

7. Insert and close each cassette tray.

8. Press the power button to turn the product on.
