HP Color LaserJet Enterprise - 13.B2.Ax, 13.B2.FF, 13.B9.Bx, and 13.D1.Ax Errors

• HP Color LaserJet Enterprise CM4540 MFP

When a jam occurs in the right door, one of the following error messages is displayed on the control panel:

• 13.B2.Ax Paper jam
• 13.B2.FF Paper jam
• 13.B9.Bx Jam in right door
• 13.D1.Ax Jam in right door

The X in each message represents the tray number from which the paper came.

Clear jams in the right door

Use the following procedure to check for paper in all possible jam locations inside the right door. When a jam occurs, the control panel displays an animation that assists in clearing the jam.

  caution:

The fuser can be hot while the product is in use. Wait for the fuser to cool before handling it.

1. Open the right door.

2. Gently pull out any jammed paper.
   Figure : Remove the jammed paper
   
3. If paper is visible entering the bottom of the fuser, gently pull downward to remove it.

     caution:

   Do not touch the rollers on the transfer roller. Contaminants can affect print quality.

4. If paper is jammed as it enters the output bin, remove the fuser and gently pull the paper downward to remove it.

5. Close the right door.
