Introduction

Locate the correct product section and follow the steps to set the date and time on an HP All-in-One or fax product.

HP Officejet T and 700 Series

note:
When connected to a computer with the software installed, the date and time on the keypad display is automatically loaded from the date and time set on the computer. If incorrect, verify the computer's date and time settings.

From the front panel (not connected to a computer)

  1. Press Menu.
  2. Press 5.
  3. Press 1.
  4. Follow the prompts to enter the time and date.
    note:
    All entries must be two-digit entries. Example: enter 01 for January.

HP Fax 910 and 920

From the front panel

  1. Press Menu.
  2. Press 7.
  3. Press 1.
  4. Follow the prompts to enter the time and date.
    note:
    All entries must be two-digit entries. Example: enter 01 for January.

HP Officejet R80 Series

note:
Date and time can be set on faxing HP Officejet model R80 only.

From the front panel

  1. Press Fax Menu.
  2. Press 4.
  3. Press 1.
  4. Follow the prompts to enter the date and time.
    note:
    All entries must be two-digit entries. Example: enter 01 for January.

HP Officejet G, K, D, 6100, and 7100 Series

note:
For the G series, date and time can be set on fax capable models G85 and G95 only.

From the front panel

  1. Press Menu.
  2. Press 5.
  3. Press 1.
  4. Follow the prompts to enter the date and time.
    note:
    All entries must be two-digit entries. Example: enter 01 for January.

From the software

  1. Double-click HP Officejet G series on the computer desktop.
  2. Click Settings, then Director Settings.
  3. In the Director Settings dialog box, click Date/Time.
    • Click Read Current Date and Time to update the displayed PC date and time to the current PC date and time at that instant.
    • Click Set Device Date and Time to Match PC to match the date and time on the HP Officejet to the PC.
    • Set PC Date and Time will access a screen to change the date and time on the PC.
  4. Click OK.

HP Fax 1220 Series

From the front panel

  1. Press Menu.
  2. Press 5.
  3. Press 1.
  4. Follow the prompts to enter the date and time.
    note:
    All entries must be two-digit entries. Example: enter 01 for January.

HP Officejet V, 5100 and PSC 900 Series models

From the front panel

  1. Press Setup.
  2. Press the 3 key on the numeric keypad.
  3. Press the 1 key on the numeric keypad.
  4. Enter the date in two-digit numbers (for example, 01-01-01) and press Enter.
  5. Enter the time in two-digit numbers then press Enter.
  6. Press 1 for AM or 2 for PM.

From the software

  1. Double-click the All-in-One product icon on the computer desktop to open the Director.
  2. Click Settings, then Director Settings.
  3. In the Director Settings dialog box, click Date/Time.
    • Click Read Current Date and Time to update the displayed PC date and time to the current one.
    • Click Set Device Date and Time to match the date and time on the HP Officejet to the PC one.
    • Setting PC Date and Time will access a screen to change the date and time on the PC.
  4. Click OK.

HP PSC 2200 Series and HP PSC 2400 and 2500 Photosmart All-in-One models

The time and date can only be changed from the front panel.
  1. Press Setup.
  2. Press the number 3 button on the numeric keypad.
  3. Press the number 1 button on the numeric keypad.
  4. Enter the date in two-digit numbers (for example, 01-01-01) and press Enter.
  5. Enter the time in two-digit numbers and then press Enter.
  6. Press 1 for AM or 2 for PM.

HP Officejet 4200 Series All-in-One models

The time and date of the Officejet 4200 series can only be changed from the front panel.
  1. Press Setup.
  2. Press the number 3 button on the numeric keypad.
  3. Press the number 1 button on the numeric keypad.
  4. Enter the date in two-digit numbers (for example, 01-01-01) and press OK.
  5. Enter the time in two-digit numbers and then press OK.
  6. Press 1 for AM or 2 for PM.

HP Officejet 4300 Series All-in-One models

The time and date can be set from the front panel only.
  1. Press Setup.
  2. Press the number 6 button on the numeric keypad.
  3. Press the number 3 button on the numeric keypad.
  4. Enter the date in two-digit numbers (for example, 01-01-01) . If the last digit of the date has not been modified, press OK.
  5. Enter the time in two-digit numbers. If the last digit of the time has not been modified and it is displayed in the 24-hour format, press OK.
  6. If the time is displayed in the 12-hour format, press 1 for AM or 2 for PM.

HP Officejet 5500 Series All-in-One models

The time and date can be set from the front panel only.
  1. Press Setup.
  2. Press the number 3 button on the numeric keypad.
  3. Press the number 1 button on the numeric keypad.
  4. Enter the date in two-digit numbers (for example, 01-01-01) and press OK.
  5. Enter the time in two-digit numbers and then press OK.
  6. Press 1 for AM or 2 for PM.

HP Officejet 5600 Series All-in-One models

The time and date can be set from the front panel only.
  1. Press Setup.
  2. Press the number 6 button on the numeric keypad.
  3. Press the number 3 button on the numeric keypad.
  4. Enter the date in two-digit numbers (for example, 01-01-01) . If the last digit of the date has not been modified, press OK.
  5. Enter the time in two-digit numbers. If the last digit of the time has not been modified and it is displayed in the 24-hour format, press OK.
  6. If the time is displayed in the 12-hour format, press 1 for AM or 2 for PM.

HP Photosmart 2600 and 2700 Series All-in-One and HP Officejet 6200, 7200, 7300 and 7400 Series All-in-One models

The time and date can be set from the front panel only.
  1. Press Setup.
  2. Press the number 4 button on the numeric keypad.
  3. Press the number 1 button on the numeric keypad.
  4. Enter the date in two-digit numbers (for example, 01-01-01) . If the last digit of the date has not been modified, press OK.
  5. Enter the time in two-digit numbers. If the last digit of the time has not been modified and it is displayed in the 24-hour format, press OK.
  6. If the time is displayed in the 12-hour format, press 1 for AM or 2 for PM.

The time and date can be set from the front panel only.
  1. Press Setup.

  5. Enter the time in two-digit numbers and then press OK.
  6. Press 1 for AM or 2 for PM.
