HP PageWide Pro 750, MFP 772, MFP 777, Managed P75050-P75060, MFP P77740-P77760 - Set up contacts on the printer using the Embedded Web Server (EWS)

Overview

Use this document to set up contacts in the Address book and store these contacts in the printer memory using the HP Embedded Web Server (EWS).
An address book is a stored list of individual contacts used frequently for quick selection when sending a document from the printer control panel.

Review the requirements

Make sure to preview the following requirements:
  • The printer is connected to the same network as your computer and assigned an IP address.
  • Internet connection to open and access the HP Embedded Web Server.
  • Information to configure the LDAP server
    • Server authentication requirements
    • Path to start search (Base DN, Search root)
    • Attributes for matching the name entered
    • Email addresses of users

Limitations

While there is a maximum of ten user created address books, they are limited in size only by the storage capacity of the printer.
