• No special tools are required to install this kit.

note:

The toner-collection unit (TCU) is designed for a single use. Do not try to empty the tonercollection unit and reuse it. To recycle a discarded toner-collection unit, follow the instructions that come with a replacment toner-collection unit.

1. Do the following:
   1. Turn off the product.
   2. Disconnect the power cable.

        warning:

      To avoid damage to the product, turn the product off, wait five seconds, and then remove the power cord before attempting to service the product.

2. Open the TCU access door (callout 1) on the product back side.
3. Grasp the top of the TCU (callout 2), and then remove it from the product.
   
4. Remove the plug from the discarded TCU.
   
5. Install the plug onto the discarded TCU before putting it into the box and mailing it for recycling.

1. Install the replacement toner collection unit (callout 1), and then close the toner collection unit access door (callout 2).
   
2. Do the following:
   1. Connect the power cable.
   2. Turn on the product.
