HP Designjet 820 MFP/510 Printer series - Uninstalling the HP Designjet 820 MFP/510 series Printer Driver

Unable uninstall a USB port installed HP Designjet 820 MFP/510 series printer driver from the Scanner Touchscreen.

To uninstall the HP Designjet 820 MFP/510 series printer driver if installed through USB:

1. On the Touchscreen, go to Setup>Options>System.
2. Click the Install button for the HP Designjet 820 MFP/510 series.
3. Reinstall the HP Designjet 820 MFP/510 printer driver to a network port.
   Once the HP Designjet 820 MFP/510 printer driver is installed to a network port, go back and click on the Install button again. Choose Remove All Previously Installed drivers. This will remove both the netwoked printer driver and the USB connected printer driver.

To install the HP Designjet 820 MFP/510 series printer driver:

1. On the Touchscreen, go to Setup>Options>System.
2. Click on the Install button for the Designjet 820 MFP/510 series.
3. Install the Designjet 820 MFP/510 printer driver to desired port.

Another method to uninstall a USB port installed Designjet 820 MFP/510 printer driver from the Touchscreen is to run the recovery CD/DVD. To run the Recovery CD/DVD, put CD/DVD in the Touchscreen drive. Shut down the touchscreen. Power up the touchscreen and it will boot to the CD/DVD drive and reghost the entire image on the Touchscreen.
