Samsung Laser Printers - Paper Jam in the Paper Exit (Jam 2)

To remove the jammed paper, follow these steps:

1. Open the top cover.

2. Open the toner cartridge cover.

3. Remove the toner cartridge.

4. Gently pull the paper toward the front and out of the printer.

5. After removing the paper, make sure there is no additional paper in the paper path.
6. Replace the toner cartridge and close the cartridge door.

7. Close the top cover and power on the printer.

If the printer still displays error after turning on the printer, unplug the printer, then repeat the previous steps. Make sure all paper has been removed and all the cover doors are fully closed before turning the printer back on.

To remove the jammed paper, follow these steps:

1. Press the top cover lever and open the top cover.

2. Gently pull the paper straight out if a long portion of the paper is visible. If there is any resistance or no paper go to the next step.

3. Open the inner cover.

4. Gently pull the paper toward the front and out of the paper.

5. After removing the paper, make sure there is no additional paper in the paper path.
6. Close the inner cover.
7. Carefully close the top cover, and securely latch it.

     caution:

   Take care to not pinch fingers when closing the cover.

If the printer still displays error after turning on the printer, unplug the printer, then repeat the previous steps. Make sure all paper has been removed and all the cover doors are fully closed before turning the printer back on.

To remove the jammed paper, follow these steps:

1. Power off the printer.
2. Open the cover the printer then close it afterwards. The jammed paper automatically exits the machine. If not, go to the next step.
3. Gently pull the paper toward the front out of the output tray.

4. If there is any resistance and the paper does not move or the paper cannot be seen in the output tray, open the rear cover.
5. Remove the jammed paper by gently pulling it out.

6. After removing the paper, make sure there is no additional paper in the paper path.
7. Close the printer cover, and power on the printer.

If the printer still displays error after turning on the printer, unplug the printer, then repeat the previous steps. Make sure all paper has been removed and all the cover doors are fully closed before turning the printer back on. If the problem persists, go to support.hp.com.

3. Push the two inner tabs down and open the inner cover.

4. Gently remove the jammed paper.

5. After removing the paper, make sure there is no additional paper in the paper path.
6. Close the inner cover make sure the tabs in place.

7. Close the rear cover to resume printing.

If the printer still displays error after turning on the printer, unplug the printer, then repeat the previous steps. Make sure all paper has been removed and all the cover doors are fully closed before turning the printer back on.
