HP PageWide 300, 400, 500 series - After installing the Tray 3 or Tray 4 accessory, the tray is not listed in the printer software when trying to print

Right-click the Windows icon in the lower-left corner of the screen, and then click Control Panel. The Control Panel window will open.

In the Control Panel window, under Hardware and Sound, click View devices and printers. The Devices and Printers window will open.

Right-click the printer name, and then click Printer Properties.

In the Properties window, click the Device Settings tab.

On the Device Settings tab, update the installed options. The steps vary depending on the driver you have installed. Find your driver in the list below and follow the steps provided.

• HP Universal Print Driver (UPD): In the Installable Options section under Automatic Configuration, click Update Now.
• HP PCL 6 print driver: Click Update Now.
• HP PCL 6 (version 4) print driver: Click the drop-down box next to the tray that you would like to install (Tray 3 or Tray 4), and select Installed.

Scroll to the bottom-left corner of the screen, right-click the window that displays, and then click Control Panel.

From the Apple menu (), choose System Preferences.

Choose Print & Scan (or Printers & Scanners).

Choose the printer, click the Options & Supplies button, and then choose the Options tab.
