HP Sure View protects sensitive information visible on your computer screen by making it difficult for onlookers to view from the sides. This feature can be easily turned off or on using the function keys.
An HP Sure View privacy panel is required to use the privacy feature.
Use the following key presses to adjust the HP Sure View Reflect, HP Sure View Gen3, and HP Sure View Gen2 privacy screen settings.
Turn the privacy screen off by pressing f2.
Adjust the privacy screen for well-lit or darker environments by pressing f3 or f4.

Use the following key combinations to adjust the HP Sure View Gen1 privacy screen settings.
Turn the privacy screen on or off by pressing fn + f2.
Adjust the privacy screen for well-lit or darker environments by pressing fn + f5 or fn + f6.
Turn on HP Sure View with the highest privacy setting by pressing fn + p.
Use the following key presses or the HP Sure View app to adjust the privacy screen settings, depending on whether the keyboard is attached.
When the keyboard is attached, use the following key presses.
Turn the privacy screen on or off by pressing f2.
The screen on HP Sure View Gen2 units turns white when the privacy screen is turned on. The screen on HP Sure View Gen3 units turns black.
After HP Sure View is activated, you can adjust the privacy screen for well-lit or darker environments by pressing the brightness keys on your keyboard.
When the keyboard is detached, you can use one of the following ways to open the HP Sure View app and adjust the privacy screen settings.
Open the Start menu, and then click HP Sure View.
Simultaneously press the volume up and volume down keys.
After you have opened the HP Sure View app, you can use the app to turn HP Sure View on or off and adjust the privacy screen for well-lit or darker environments.
