Use this feature to copy or scan original documents that have pages with different sizes. If the pages have the same size widths but different lengths, you can scan them as a single job. For example, you could combine the following sizes: Letter and Legal, A4 and A3, or Letter and Ledger.
The steps vary according to the type of control panel.

To begin, decide which method to use (copy or scan) and then click the appropriate section below and follow the steps to complete the task.
Follow these steps to copy original documents that have pages with different sizes.
Remove staples, paper clips, or sticky notes from the original documents.
Align the edges of the multiple pages by first tapping along the long edge, and then rotating 90 degrees and tapping the top edge.
Avoid inserting a document with a leading edge that has been folded or frayed.
Place the original documents face-up in the document feeder, and adjust the paper guides to rest again the edge of the documents. Do not push the guides in so tightly that they bend or bind the pages.
Load the original documents in the document feeder
From the Home screen on the printer control panel, touch Copy.
On the Copy menu, touch the Options or More Options button.
Open the Original Size menu using the following steps (for your control-panel type):
FutureSmart 4 or 5: In the list of options, scroll to and touch Original Size.
FutureSmart 3: Touch the More Options button until the Original Size option displays, and then touch Original Size.
Select a mixed-size option:
Mixed Letter/Legal
Mixed Letter/Ledger
Mixed A4/A3
Preview and change other settings, as needed. If prompted, touch Done to save any changes.
Some copy settings conflict with the mixed-size original option. After selecting a mixed-size original option, these settings will be unavailable in the Copy menu.
Touch Copy (or the Start button ) to begin copying.

Scan to Email
Scan to Network Folder
Scan to USB Drive
Scan to Job Storage
Scan to Sharepoint (Flow models only)
FutureSmart 3: From the Home screen on the printer control panel, touch one of the following options:
E-mail: Scan a document and send it directly to one or more email addresses
Save to Network Folder: Scan a document and save it in a shared folder on the network
Save to Device Memory: Scan a document and save it in the printer's memory
Save to USB: Scan a document and save it on a USB flash drive
Save to Sharepoint (Flow models only): Scan a document and save it to a Microsoft Sharepoint site
Touch the Options or More Options button.
Open the Original Size menu using the following steps (for your control-panel type):
FutureSmart 4 or 5: In the list of options, scroll to and touch Original Size.
FutureSmart 3: Touch the More Options button until the Original Size option displays, and then touch Original Size.
Select a mixed-size option:
