HP LaserJet Pro 200 Color MFP M276n and MFP M276nw - Printing a Configuration Report

note:

You can view HP Device Toolbox when the product is directly connected to a computer or when it is connected to the network. You must install the recommended full feature software to use HP Device Toolbox.

You might need administrator privileges to run HP Device Toolbox.

1. Open HP Device Toolbox.
   • Windows XP: Click Start, click All Programs, click HP, click HP LaserJet 200 Color M276, and then click HP Device Toolbox.
   • Windows Vista: Click the Windows icon (), click Programs, click HP, click HP LaserJet 200 Color M276, and then click HP Device Toolbox.
   • Windows 7: Click the Windows icon (), click All Programs, click HP, click HP LaserJet 200 Color M276, and then click HP Device Toolbox.
2. On the Home tab, click Reports. The Reports page opens.
3. Click Print next to Configuration Report.

1. Load letter or A4 unused, plain white paper into the input tray.
2. Open the Embedded Web Server (EWS):
   Type the IP address of your printer in the Address field of a supported web browser, and then press Enter. The EWS opens.

   note:

   To view the printer's IP address, touch the wireless icon () on the printer's display. The printer must be connected to a network for an IP address to display.

3. Print or view the configuration report:
   • Print the report
     On the Home tab, click Reports, and then click Print next to Configuration Report. The configuration report prints.
   • View the report
     On the Home tab, click Device Configuration. The configuration report opens.

1. Load letter or A4 unused, plain white paper into the input tray.
2. Use one of the following methods to open the HP Utility:
   • Method one: Open the HP Utility from the dock
     1. Click the HP Utility icon () in the Dock. The HP Utility opens.
     2. Under Devices, click your printer, if more than one printer is listed. The HP Utility for your printer opens.

     note:

     The HP Utility only displays in the Dock if you selected that option when installing the software.

   • Method two: Open the HP Utility from the main menu
     1. On the main menu, click the Apple icon (), and then click System Preferences.
     2. Click Print & Fax (10.5 and 10.6) or Print & Scan (10.7). The Print & Fax or Print & Scan window opens.
     3. Under Printers, click your printer, if more than one printer is listed.
     4. Click Open Print Queue. The Print Queue window opens.
     5. Click Printer Setup, and then click the Utility tab.
     6. Click Open Printer Utility. The HP Utility opens.
3. Click Device Information.
4. Click View Configuration Page. The EWS opens in your default web browser and displays the device configuration page.
5. On the Home tab, click Reports, and then click Print next to Configuration Report.
