HP PCs – Using AI with Microsoft Copilot

Copilot is an AI assistant built into Windows and Microsoft 365.

Access Copilot

There are several ways that you can access Copilot.

  • On your keyboard, press the Copilot key . On older keyboards, press Windows + C.

  • On the taskbar, click the Copilot icon .

    Note:

    To enable or disable this icon, right-click the desktop, select Personalize, and then select Taskbar.

  • Click the Copilot icon in any Microsoft 365 program.

Copilot for Windows features

After you launch Copilot, type the setting you want to configure or the task you need performed.

Copilot features for Microsoft 365

The following are some of the Copilot features available in Microsoft 365.

  • Word: Create first drafts, rewrite text, format tables, create summaries, chat with AI to generate ideas

  • Excel: Get insights and visualizations, enable smart filters, generate formulas

  • Outlook: Draft and summarize emails

  • PowerPoint: Draft, summarize, and organize presentations; add AI-generated images

  • Teams: Summarize meetings and chats, suggest action items
