Use these steps to locate the SATA power cable installation instructions for the optical drive or hard drive in your computer.

1. Go to https://support.hp.com.

2. To identify your product, enter your serial number, product number, or product name in the search box, and then click Submit.

3. Select Manuals.

   

4. Click Maintenance and Service Guide, and then download the file.
