AMD has informed HP of a potential security vulnerability identified in the AMD® Ryzen Master™ Driver which might allow escalation of privileges.

The AMD Ryzen Master™ software is used to support the overclocking feature in certain versions of the HP OMEN Command Center. Mitigated versions of AMD Ryzen Master™ are being provided via an OMEN Command Center SDK Package version 1.0.32 or higher for systems that support AMD processor overclocking. Ryzen Master™ versions prior to 2.2.0.1543 are impacted.

AMD has released updates to mitigate the potential vulnerability. HP has identified affected platforms and corresponding SoftPaqs with minimum versions that mitigate the potential vulnerability. See the affected platforms listed below.
