Sprout Pro by HP G2 - Aligning the Projector with WorkTools Control

This information is for WorkTools Control software included with the Sprout Pro by HP G2.
For the best results when using Sprout, it is important that the HP touchmat and the projected screen on the touchmat are properly aligned. This alignment is done during initial setup and can also be realigned any time you choose. During the alignment process, Sprout detects the alignment of the touchmat and adjusts the projector and the cameras to create the best results when using the WorkTools Camera 3D and WorkTools Capture.
Use the following instructions to align Sprout Pro by HP G2.

Aligning Sprout by HP

Use the following steps to align your Sprout:
  1. Tap the Launcher button on the base connected to the touchmat to open Launcher.

  2. Tap Control on the Launcher.

  3. In the WorkToosl Control, tap Start to begin the alignment process.

  4. Read the caution at the bottom.
    note:
    Read the warning at the bottom of the screen and if more information is needed, tap Read more.
  5. Tap Align projector.

  6. Wait while the projectors align with the touchmat.

  7. Tap Done when the projector alignment is successful.

Alignment troubleshooting

If the alignment is unsuccessful, the following message is displayed:

Sprout alignment is unsuccessful
Tap Continue or to attempt to align again, tap Retry.
If the alignment is unsuccessful again, follow these instructions and try again.
  1. Reconnect the touchmat. Grasp the touchmat with both hands and pull gently to release it. Gently push it back into place to reconnect it.
  2. Ensure that Sprout is on a flat surface, including making sure that nothing is stuck underneath the vertical column.
  3. Ensure that no objects are on, or underneath the touchmat.
  4. Ensure that the touchmat is not illuminated by direct light and that no shadows are on the touchmat. You can try turning lights in the room down or off, or closing curtains.
  5. On the Sprout Alignment Unsuccessful window, tap Retry to run the alignment process again.
