HP Printers - 'Incompatible Cartridges. This Printer is Not Designed to Use Continuous Ink Systems' Error

This document is for HP printers that use HP 913, 932, 933, 950, 951, 952, 953, 954, 955, 956, 957, 958, 959, 970, 971, 972, 973, 974, 975, 976, 980, 981, 982, 990, 991, 992, or 993 ink cartridges.
The printer does not print and displays the following error message on the printer control panel:
Incompatible Cartridges. This Printer is Not Designed to Use Continuous Ink Systems.
To resume printing, remove the continuous ink system, and then install genuine HP (or compatible) ink cartridges.
Ink cartridges require periodic servicing by printer hardware to maintain good print quality and avoid damage to the printer. Attaching an aftermarket product to the printer’s ink delivery system, such as a continuous ink system, affects ink cartridge servicing and other printer functions and voids the HP limited warranty.
