Step two: Define the custom paper size
When defining custom paper sizes, make sure that the width is equal to the measurement of the short edge of the paper and the length is equal to the measurement of the long edge of the paper. For example, if you are creating a custom paper size of 215.9 mm (8.5 in) by 139.7 mm (5.5 in), define the width as 139.7 mm (5.5 in) and length as 215.9 mm (8.5 in).
Follow these steps to define a custom paper size:
  1. On the File menu in the software program, click Print.
  2. Click your product from the Name drop-down list, if it is not already selected.
  3. Click Properties or Preferences.
  4. Click Custom. The Custom Paper Size dialog box opens.
  5. In the Width box, type the width of the custom paper.
  6. In the Length box, type the length of the custom paper.

  8. Click the Finishing tab.
  9. Under Orientation, click Portrait or Landscape.
  10. Click OK, and then click OK again to start the print job.
Cause
The issue can be caused by the following conditions:
  • The custom paper size was not defined correctly in the print driver.
  • The media was not loaded correctly.
