HP iPAQ 614c Business Navigator - How to Use Voice Commander

Information

Use the Voice Commander application to look up contacts, dial a contact by name, get calendar information, play and control your music, as well as launch applications on the HP iPAQ.

Details

Press the Voice Commander button on the left panel (third button from the top) of your HP iPAQ to launch the Voice Commander application. Wait for the audio cue to say Say command, and then begin saying a command into the microphone. Voice commander accuracy depends on the accent, so use the Settings option in Voice commander. You can record your own voice tag for the contacts, application, and music and do digital voice recognition training and set sensitivity to be accurate.

To call numbers not stored in the contact list
Digit Dial followed by the digits in the number, Redial to redial the number, and Callback to call the last dialed number Important! The Digit Dial feature might not be available in all countries/regions.
To play, pause, and/or resume music

Play followed by the name of the music file
To play the previous or the next song in the playlist

Start followed by the application name

You can also launch the Voice Commander by pressing the hook switch on your HP iPAQ wired headset. The Bluetooth headset or Bluetooth hands free is not supported to use the voice commander by design.
