Intel Active Management Technology (AMT) reads the Universally Unique Identifier (UUID) as all zeros. This prevents setup and configuration of an AMT system in Enterprise Mode.

Intel provided an AMT ME firmware update that must be applied to resolve this issue. Perform the following to determine if the solution is required:
Determine the notebook PC BIOS version:

Power on or restart the notebook PC.

Press F10 when the HP logo displays.

Press Enter to select System Information.
note:
The steps to view the System Information may very due to the BIOS version install. -
Note the ROM BIOS version.
