HP Designjet Z2100 and Z3100 Photo Printer Series - HP/GL-2 Driver Installation

If your printer is connected through a network, proceed as follows:

1. Ensure that the printer is connected to the network and turned on.
2. Insert the Upgrade Kit DVD into your computer’s DVD drive.
3. The installation program will list the printers on your network. Choose the printer for which you want to install the driver.
4. Follow the instructions on your screen to install the HP-GL/2 driver.

If your printer is connected directly to your computer by USB, proceed as follows:

1. Ensure that the printer is not connected to the computer.
2. Insert the Upgrade Kit DVD into your computer’s DVD drive.
3. In the installation program, select a USB connection.
4. Follow the instructions on your screen to install the HP-GL/2 driver. You will be asked to connect the printer to the computer with the USB cable during the installation process.

At the end of the driver installation process, you will be offered a link to the printer’s Embedded Web Server to check whether you already have the HP-GL/2 upgrade, and to install it if necessary.
