Questions/Symptoms
The computer does not deny access to Bluetooth devices, even when either the hardware button or systray.exe denies access to Bluetooth devices.
Cause
The HP Device Access Manager overrides access to Bluetooth devices, if the access settings are set to Allow, even when either the hardware button or systray.exe denies access to Bluetooth devices.
Answer/Solution
To resolve this issue, change the Bluetooth Device Class Access settings to Deny in the HP Device Access Manager.

1. Open HP Protect Tools.
Windows 8
Press the Windows + Q keys, and then type Device Access in the search field.
Windows 7
Click Start, and then type Device Access in the search field. 2. Select HP Device Access Manager from the search results list. 3. Select Device Permissions. 4. Select Change, and then select On for Device Access Manager with Just In Time Authentication. 5. Under User Groups, find the effected user or group, and then click Deny. 6. Click Apply, and then OK.
