Installing the Processor
Overview
  1. Prepare the computer for disassembly and remove the following components:
  2. a. LED cover
  3. b. Keyboard
  4. c. Heat Spreader
  5. Slide the front end of the processor release bar (1) to the right until it clears the clip on the processor bracket.
  6. Swing the processor release bar up and back (2) until it rests in an upright position.
  7. Lift the processor straight up (3) and remove it from the processor socket.
  8. Reverse the preceding procedures to install the processor. When installing the processor, make sure the gold triangle (refer to detail) is in the right rear corner.
