Introduction

System error codes are hexa-decimal based numbers generally caused by internal system errors. The following pages contain a list of system error codes and their respective descriptions and recommended corrective actions. Only try one recommended action at a time and check if the error code has disappeared.

System Error 01.0:03

Explanation

Error impact I2C channel.

Recommended action

Try the following:

  2. Check that the memory module is installed correctly.
  3. Try installing the memory module in the other memory slot and check if the system error appears.
  4. If the system error reappears, replace the memory module.

System Error 06:03

Explanation

NVM file has bad CRC.

Broken bag detected in Ink Cartridge.

System Error 26.0:01

Explanation

Bad contact detected in ISS slot 0 floater.

Recommended action

Try the following:
  1. Remove the yellow ink cartridge and reinstall it into the printer.
  2. Replace the yellow ink cartridge.

Cannot print file on current paper type. The paper type has changed since the file was sent, so the file cannot be printed on the paper type currently loaded.

System Error 98:02:00

Explanation

A backup printmode is being used due to bad printhead quality or health, as a result there is lower performace in printing.

Recommended action

One or more printheads have too many nozzles out and should be replaced.
Replace the faulty printhead. You may have to print the Image Quality Diagnostics print in order to identify the faulty printhead.

System Error 98:02 (this error code will be logged in the system but will not actually appear on the Front Panel)

Explanation

Switching to lower performance due to Printhead quality.

Recommended action

Try the following:
  1. Perform a printhead recovery on the printheads.
    1. Replace the faulty printhead. You may have to print the Image Quality Diagnostics print in order to identify the faulty printhead.
