Printer management
The printer can be managed through the printing software, drivers, and device tools native to your computer’s operating system.
Additionally, the printer contains an Embedded Web Server (EWS) that accesses and manages many printer features over a wireless or Wired (Ethernet) connection. An EWS is a website built into the printer and is accessible by typing the printer's IP address into a web browser.

Regulatory model number
For regulatory identification purposes, the printer is assigned a Regulatory Model Number. The Regulatory Model Numbers are SNPRC-1501-02 (HP OfficeJet 6960 and HP OfficeJet Pro 6960 All-in-One Printer series) and SNPRC-1501-01 (HP OfficeJet Pro 6970 All-in-One Printer series). This regulatory number should not be confused with the marketing name (HP OfficeJet Pro 6960 All-in-One Printer, etc.) or printer numbers (J7K33A, etc.).
Exposure to radio frequency radiation
The radiated output power of this device is far below the FCC radio frequency exposure limits. Nevertheless, the device shall be used in such a manner that the potential for human contact during normal operation is minimized. This printer and any attached external antenna, if supported, shall be placed in such a manner to minimize the potential for human contact during normal operation. In order to avoid the possibility of exceeding the FCC radio frequency exposure limits, human proximity to the antenna shall not be less than 20 cm (8 inches) during normal operation.
