After upgrading your computer to Windows 10, the printer does not print, or a file is stuck in the print queue. This issue occurs under the following conditions:

The computer uses Windows 10.

The HP printer is used in Africa, Asia Pacific, Europe, or the Middle East.

The print driver you are using is a built in (in-OS) driver that automatically installs when Windows detects your printer.

The printer is connected through a wired (Ethernet) or wireless network.
To resolve the issue, reinstall the driver.
Step 1: Uninstall the Windows print driver
Remove the Windows print driver from your computer.

Make sure the printer is turned on and in a ready state.

If your printer connects to the computer with a USB cable, disconnect the cable from the printer.

In Windows, search for and open Control Panel.

Click
Devices and Printers, right-click the icon for your printer

, and then click
Remove Device or
Uninstall device.
If you do not see your printer in the list, expand the Printers section.

Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the printer removal.
If multiple icons exist for your printer, remove them all.
Step 2: Reinstall the driver
Repeat the previous steps in this document to reinstall the Windows built-in driver.
