Why is my bill higher than expected?

If your Instant Ink bill was not what you expected, there are a few program features to remember.

  • Your monthly bill is based entirely on the number of pages you print, not the number of ink or toner cartridges you receive.

  • Check your Instant Ink account to view your invoice. You may have been charged for additional pages if you printed more than your plan amount and any rollovers you may have had.

  • To download an invoice:

    1. Sign in to your HP Instant Ink account.

    2. Click Instant Ink in the left menu if that option is present.

    3. Click Print History in the left menu.

    4. Under the billing cycle drop down menu, select the billing dates you would like to see. Then click Download Invoice to see a breakdown of your charges.

  • If you canceled your account, you are still charged at the end of your final billing cycle. After this final charge, you are not charged again.
