Change plans

If your printing needs change, you can switch to a different monthly plan at any time.

  1. Sign in to your HP Instant Ink account.

  2. Look for HP Smart at the top left of your account page:

    • If you see HP Smart on your account page, click Instant Ink in the left menu, then Change Plan.

    • If you do not see HP Smart on your account page, click My Account in the left menu, then My Plan on the right side of the window.

  3. A list of available plans displays, with your current plan selected. To change, select another plan.

    • If you upgrade, you may choose whether the change is applied immediately or in the next billing cycle.

    • If you downgrade, your plan automatically changes on the first day of the next billing cycle. Your rollover maximum changes with your new plan, so you may lose accumulated rollover pages in excess of your new plan maximum.
