Where is my ink or toner?

HP Instant Ink sends ink or toner before you need them, based on your printing volume and cartridge levels. You might not receive cartridges every month, but if you print lots of pages, you might receive several cartridges in a month.

  • New to the program? Most new printers come with ink or toner cartridges that can be used as part of the Instant Ink program. If you enroll in Instant Ink during initial setup, you will be able to start printing pages in the program right away. In addition, a new set of cartridges will be shipped to you and should arrive within 10 days of enrollment.

  • Missing a shipment?

    1. Sign in to your HP Instant Ink account.

    2. Click Instant Ink in the left menu if that option is present.

    3. Click Shipment Tracking. You can track previous shipments and see an estimate of your next shipment date (based on current usage). You might have received your last shipment a while ago. If you’ve looked around your workspace for misplaced packages and still can’t locate your shipment, go to HP Instant Ink support for assistance.
