  2. Tap Check for Update Now to check whether new firmware is available.
    • To enable the printer to automatically download and install firmware updates, turn on the Auto Update from the Product Update screen.
  3. If a new firmware version is available, you are given the opportunity to download and install it.
From the Embedded Web Server
  1. On a printer with an Internet connection, tap or on the printer’s front panel to check its IP address.
  2. Access the printer’s Embedded Web Server by typing the printer’s IP address into your web browser.

  2. Open the zip file and run the HP DesignJet T120/T520 Firmware Upgrade Tool. Included in the zip file, you will find a walkthrough guide of the upgrade procedure.
  3. Follow the steps in the upgrade tool.
  4. Wait until a success message is displayed in the tool to confirm that you have successfully upgraded your firmware.

Option 3 - HP DesignJet Utility (using the firmware file downloaded from hp.com)
