HP Sprocket - Revealing Memories with Embedded Experiences

This document is for HP Sprockets and the HP sprocket app for Android mobile and Apple iOS devices.
The Embedded Experiences feature reveals additional content, such as related videos and photos, Wikipedia facts, and the Google Earth Street View.
Step 1: Turn on location settings
On your mobile device, open the Location or Location Services menu, and then make sure the setting is turned on.
  note:
Any photos or videos taken with location settings turned off might only show content taken from the same day.

Step 2: Turn on Embedded Experiences
Use the HP sprocket app to turn on the Embedded Experiences feature.
  1. On the HP sprocket app, tap the Menu icon , and then tap sprocket.
  2. Tap App Settings.

  3. Tap the Embedded Experiences toggle to enable the feature.

Step 3: Print a photo or video frame
When you print a photo or video frame with Embedded Experiences turned on, the photo prints with a concealed watermark. This watermark allows you to reveal additional content when viewing your photos through the HP sprocket app camera.
From the HP sprocket app, select and print a photo or video frame.

Step 4: Reveal additional content
Use the HP sprocket app camera to reveal additional content on your printout.
  1. On the HP sprocket app, tap the Camera/Reveal icon or , and then swipe left or right to the Reveal option.

  2. Using the HP sprocket app camera in a well-lit area, place your photo within the camera frame. Make sure your mobile device is 15 cm (6 in) above the photo.
    The app detects and reveals the additional content. If you printed a video frame, the video from the frame automatically plays.
  3. Swipe left to view related photos and videos, location information, and the Google Map Street View.
