HP recommends pairing your online Personal Dashboard with the built-in HP Support Assistant application giving you access to messages, updates, and automated fixes to easily maintain your HP devices.
Your online Personal Dashboard provides a custom list of HP products to quickly find support resources specific to your individual device. With only a serial number and product number, you can add, delete, and maintain your hardware device list from a single login.
While we recommend HP Support Assistant, the online Personal Dashboard does not require any software to use the core features on the web.
In order for your device information to be shared and updated, you must use the same HP sign-in information to sign in on both the HP Support Assistant Profile tab and at support.hp.com
