Samsung Laser Printers - How to Print Using AirPrint

note:
The Apple device must be updated to the latest version and on the same network as the printer to use AirPrint. AirPrint will not work if the iOS device is connected directly to the printer using Wi-Fi Direct instead of the router or access point.
AirPrint is an Apple application built-in to iOS, allowing driver less printing to an AirPrint supported printer. For more information about AirPrint, see About AirPrint on the Apple support page.
To setup AirPrint:
  1. Power the printer on.
  2. Make sure the printer is connected to the same network as the iOS device.
  3. Open a web browser on the computer an enter the printer's IP address in the address bar.

  4. SyncThru will open. Click Login.

After all the correct settings are enabled in SyncThru Web Service, the iOS device can connect successfully to the printer. See the following steps on how to print on the iOS device using AirPrint.
To use AirPrint:
  1. Open the email, photo, web page, or document to print. Tap the options icon at the bottom left of the screen.
    Figure : Options
  2. Tap the Print icon.
    Figure : Print
  3. Tap Select Printer to search for any AirPrint printers.
    note:
The printer and iOS device must be connected to the same network for AirPrint to work properly.
    Figure : Select printer
  4. The iOS device searches for any AirPrint enabled printers connected to the same network as the iOS device. Tap the printer once it shows in the list.
    Figure : Printer
  5. The printer selected shows in the Printer slot. Touch the Print icon to send the print job to the printer.
    Figure : Printer options
  6. The sent job prints and the status shows on the iOS device. Tap Done when finished.
    Figure : Done
If AirPrint is not working, turn off the iOS device, printer, router, and modem. Wait a minute or so then power on the device in this order: modem, router, iOS device, and printer. This will power cycle the network and might resolve connectivity issues. If this does not resolve the issue, an update to the printer firmware or the iPhone software might be necessary.
