Notice:: The information in this document, including products and software versions, is current as of the release date. The document is subject to change without notice.

Release date : 19-Jun-2017

Last updated : 19-Jun-2017

DESCRIPTION
When attempting to configure their Active Pen in Windows Settings, users may notice that their selected configurations have not been applied to the Active Pen. This includes the behavior of the lateral button of and of the shortcut button.
This is because settings changes made in the Wacom control panel are overriding settings made using the Windows pen control panel.

SCOPE
Computers
  • HP Elite x2 1012 G1
  • HP EliteBook x360 1030 G2
  • HP Pro x2 612 G2
Operating Systems:
  • Microsoft Windows 10 Pro (64-bit)
RESOLUTION
By default, the Active Pen uses the settings in the Wacom Pen control panel as priority. To resolve:
  1. Open Wacom Pen Control Panel from list of applications.
  2. Check the box Use Windows Default Settings.
This allows you to configure the Active Pen in Windows Settings (including the double click feature) and should resolve the issue.
